Designing for complexity, systems, and change
I design complex B2B software products for the people using them, not just the people shipping them.
My process starts with finding the real question before designing the answer. Mapping roles, states, permissions, and edge cases as carefully as the interface itself. I work from the logic outward, and I stay close to engineering through build, thinking in components and treating design systems as part of shipping, not a separate discipline.
Most of my work lives where user needs, business logic, and technical constraints meet. That's where the interesting problems are, and it's the kind of work I find most satisfying.
I use AI as an active part of how I work, not as a shortcut. From prototyping in Bolt and React to designing conversational interfaces, I use new tools where they actually change what's possible, and make the judgment calls about what stays.
